Keith Wigham


Keith Wigham has been in the theatre for more years than he cares to remember. A member of the Peoples Theatre for 37 years, he also plays for other companies when invited. He has played a wide and varied range of parts over the years.

At the Peoples in 2011 he played “Alfie Doolittle” (Pygmalion) “Bottom” (A Midsummer Night’s Dream) finishing as “Pricilla” (one of the Ugly Sisters in Cinderella). In July he toured with H.C. Productions, performing in adaptations of Laurence Sterne’s ‘A Sentimental Journey’ and ‘Tristam Shandy’.  Keith is also a member of the sensational sing group “Encore” whose home is the Customs House.

As if this is not enough Keith is well known as a theatrical wigmaker, specialising in the ”wacky” Georgian period (18th Century) and pantomime “walkdown creations which he exhibits (somewhere in the region) each pantomime season.
